Lifresh ("we," "our," "us") operates the Lifresh mobile application and website (the "Service"), a hyperlocal delivery platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Service.

Account Information
Name, phone number, and email address (if provided), and delivery addresses you save to your account.

Verification
Phone number, used to send one-time passwords (OTP) via SMS for account verification and login (via Firebase Authentication).

Location Data
Precise or approximate location, used to show nearby stores, calculate delivery distances, and route orders to the correct pickup/drop points.

Order & Transaction Information
Order history, items purchased, delivery details, and order status. Payment information is processed by our payment partner, Razorpay; we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details on our servers.

Device & Usage Information
Device type, operating system, app version, and crash/diagnostic logs, used to maintain and improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process and deliver your orders (including parcel deliveries)
• Send OTPs and order-related notifications (order confirmation, status updates, delivery alerts)
• Calculate delivery charges and estimated delivery times
• Provide customer support
• Improve and troubleshoot the Service
• Prevent fraud and ensure platform security

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only as necessary to operate the Service:

• With delivery partners/riders, to fulfill your orders
• With payment processors (Razorpay), to process payments
• With Firebase/Google, for authentication (OTP) and app infrastructure
• With law enforcement or regulators, if required by law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your information is stored on secure servers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

5. Your Choices

• You can update or delete your account information from within the app
• You can disable location permissions in your device settings, though this may limit app functionality (e.g. nearby store discovery)
• You can contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
