Terms of Service — Lifresh

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lifresh mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Lifresh ("we," "our," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and place orders. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

2. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must register using your phone number and verify it via a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. The Service

Lifresh is a hyperlocal platform that allows you to:

• Order goods from local stores for delivery
• Book parcel deliveries between addresses within our service area

We act as an intermediary connecting you with local stores and delivery partners. We do not manufacture, warehouse, or guarantee the quality of products sold by third-party stores listed on the Service.

4. Orders and Delivery

• Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion, including due to stock unavailability, delivery area limitations, or suspected fraud.
• Delivery charges are calculated based on distance, weight, and vehicle type, and are shown to you before you confirm an order.
• Estimated delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, store readiness, or other factors beyond our control.
• For parcel deliveries, you are responsible for accurately describing the contents and weight of the parcel, and for ensuring the parcel does not contain prohibited, illegal, hazardous, or restricted items.

5. Payments

• We accept Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payments processed through our payment partner, Razorpay.
• By making an online payment, you agree to Razorpay's applicable terms for payment processing. We do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
• All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable charges unless stated otherwise.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe, subject to our refund policy.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• You may cancel an order before it has been accepted or dispatched by the store/rider, subject to any applicable cancellation charges.
• Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.
• Refunds for undelivered, incorrect, or damaged orders will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact our support team to raise a claim.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or incomplete information when placing an order or registering an account
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including shipping prohibited or illegal items via our parcel delivery service
• Abuse, threaten, or harass delivery partners, store staff, or our support team
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems

8. Delivery Partners

Delivery partners (riders) associated with the Service are independent contractors or partners of Lifresh, not employees. We take reasonable steps to vet delivery partners but are not liable for their individual conduct beyond what is required by applicable law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lifresh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to delays, lost or damaged parcels beyond the declared value, or issues with third-party store products. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Arunachal Pradesh, India.
